Age Friendly Employment push from GLA Assembly Committee

The GLA Assembly Economy Committee’s new report states that London employers need to be more age friendly and the Mayor needs to champion this across employers in the capital. https://www.london.gov.uk/who-we-are/what-london-assembly-does/london-assembly-work/london-assembly-publications/older-londoners-letter . It also recommends that the GLA should produce an employers toolkit following what other cities such a s Manchester have produced. Wise Age gave evidence to the committee in March https://wiseage.org.uk/2023/04/wise-age-gives-evidence-to-gla-assembly-economy-committee-2/. The Mayor needs to formally respond to the recommendations by mid June.
