Invitation to re: Kathy Burke Documentary

Wise Age is pleased to announce that we will be holding our first post-pandemic face-to-face age and employment training session and discussion around Age Barriers to Employment and How to Overcome Them. This event will be filmed for TV by Flicker Productions as part of their two programmes on age (the one dealing with youth and one with older people) hosted by Kathy Burke, the well-known comedian and actor.

We would like to invite our clients, former clients and partners to attend this Age and Employment Training Session on Tuesday 28th June at 2 p.m.The event will feature a short presentation on Myths and Prejudices facing older job applicants and the Actual Benefits they bring to employers. This will be followed by a discussion on people’s experiences of ageism and how they can be overcome. The whole meeting will be 1.5 – 2 hours long and will be held at Oxford House, Bethnal Green. Oxford House is a beautiful Grade II listed building in London’s East End, and it also has a very nice cafe which will be open for drinks and snacks.
