As part of Uk National Older Workers Week, Wise Age presented 2 power points at a conference on Addressing pensioner and elder poverty in London organised by Positive Ageing in London. These are for use by both older people seeking work and employers wishing to become more age friendly. One is about the need for and benefits of employing more older people and pensioners in London to help address labour shortages in key sectors and to highlight the numbers and impact on older workers of the massive redundancies the over 50s have faced over the last 2 and a half years. The other presentation is a well researched piece on where and how to access support to ameliorate the impact of poverty and inflation on poorer over 50s
